Search for Interim Dean of the Graduate School
Arts & Sciences faculty are invited to apply to serve as Interim Dean of the Graduate School and Vice-Provost for Graduate Education. Please submit a letter of interest and a current curriculum vitae to Lisa Siddens, no later than Monday, April 27. All letters of interest will be treated in a fully confidential manner.
Arts & Sciences staff come together to support remote teaching transition
Arts & Sciences staff have been essential to moving classes online in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, often embracing new roles and working across units to build training modules and support systems for faculty who are now teaching remotely.
Facilitating Entering Mentoring
Washington University in St. Louis, in collaboration with the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research, is pleased to invite faculty and staff to apply to participate in a two-day facilitator training workshop designed to increase the capacity for research mentor trainings offered at colleges and universities, research institutes, and governmental organizations.
Faculty Achievement Award nominations sought
Nominations are being accepted for Washington University in St. Louis’ annual Faculty Achievement Awards, known as the Arthur Holly Compton Faculty Achievement Award and the Carl and Gerty Cori Faculty Achievement Award. Nominations are due Feb. 14.

Washington University in St. Louis invites nominations and applications for candidates to serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences. Adia Harvey Wingfield named associate dean for faculty development
