Outstanding Staff Leadership Award
This award honors a staff member who demonstrates exceptional initiative and outstanding execution in efforts that help advance the mission of Arts & Sciences. Awardees are particularly adept at understanding the needs of the school and their unit; working with faculty, staff, and leadership to advance efforts that meet these needs; and fostering a culture of teamwork, inclusion, and inspiring excellence in others.
This award is open to any full-time A&S staff member with at least two consecutive years of service in Arts & Sciences.
Nominations
Each year, the Dean of Arts & Sciences sends out a request for nominations for the Outstanding Staff Awards. Nominations must include an overview of the individual's contributions and performance. Then the Dean of Arts & Sciences selects the winners.
Please include the following when submitting a nomination:
- What unique contributions does the nominee make to the overall effectiveness of the department?
- How does the nominee's demeanor contribute to the working atmosphere within (and outside of, if applicable) the department?
- Please include any additional information that you feel is relevant.
Nominations will open on Monday, February 2, 2026, and should be submitted by Friday, March 20, 2026. You may submit a nomination here.
