Catherine (Anne) Morgan

Academic & Administrative Coordinator – History Department in Arts & Sciences

Anne Morgan is an administrative and academic coordinator supporting the Department of History. Her main function in the department is coordinating events, providing logistical support to the department including managing the department website, the department e-mail and distribution lists, and scheduling departmental meetings. Anne works closely with the department chair to conduct faculty searches, promotion cases, and tenure reviews. She serves as the main conduit between the department and numerous administrative offices, including Facilities, WFF, Arts & Sciences Computing, and the Dean’s Office. She supervises all purchases and office arrangements. Anne reports to Jen Killion, the Administrative & Academic Cluster Supervisor for History and Art History and Archaeology.

 

She came to A&S History from Saint Louis Community College where she conducted numerous forms of faculty support including general office, logistical support with Canvas, submitting reimbursements and travel expense reports, making purchases, helping coordinate events, acting as liaison between the faculty and the accounting department, and assisting new hires with I-9 verification. Also in those roles, she completed financial audits with the Bursar and Purchasing department. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ceramics and a minor in German.
