Cecily Stewart Hawksworth
PreHealth Advisor
Cecily is an academic advisor in the College of Arts & Sciences. In this role, she advises students across all four years and thoroughly enjoys helping her students explore their interests and challenge themselves with endeavors outside their comfort zones. She is passionate about making sure her advisees feel welcomed and safe in the WashU community.
While she was born in Germany (thanks to her retired WashU faculty musician parents), Cecily considers herself a native St. Louisan, since she has lived in the city since second grade. She graduated from WashU with a degree in psychology and music and has worked at the university ever since. Her favorite thing about working in higher education and being an advisor is being able to live vicariously through her students and learn new things from them every day!
Off campus, Cecily loves spending time with her husband and three cats (Linus, Marcie, and Lucy!), binge-watching the Great British Baking Show and other baking shows, reading voraciously, and singing in her church choir.
Cecily is a notary public and is happy to notarize documents for those in the WashU community. To schedule an appointment for notarization, visit this link.
