    Noelani Kelly is the administrative coordinator for the Program in American Culture Studies and an academic advisor for AMCS undergraduate students. In addition to managing the AMCS office, Noelani supports the program’s leadership, students, Post Doctoral Fellows, and faculty through a variety of ways. She manages AMCS course offerings and serves as the program’s accounting and HR liaison, as well as the graduate program administrator for the Graduate Certificate in American Culture Studies.

    Noelani holds an MA in Middle East Studies from The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs, where she concentrated in Cultural Heritage Preservation and Arabic-English Translation. She is an Arabic language, culture, and arts enthusiast who is passionate about Middle Eastern music, dance, and folklore. In addition to working part-time as a freelance Arabic linguist, Noelani teaches and performs Middle Eastern dance and offers a course on popular and folkloric dances of the Middle East at WashU.
